Why we Refuse To Sell Some Product

or why we are one of the highest quality USB-C shop you can find.

The setting and the business

We don’t produce any of the items we sell.

Each item is bought in large quantities and resold to retails.

Most of our values is in figuring out:

  1. what the market needs
  2. where to buy those items
  3. make sure that the product is a good product
  4. how to price the product
  5. how to market it

What is a good product

We have very high standards about what we consider a good product.

A good product must be something that we would personally **enjoy using every day.

A good product must be something that we would recommend to our friends and family.

A good product must be something that we would gift to our friends and family.

A good product must be something that we would be sorry to lose.

A good product must be something that we would not mind replacing with the exact same product.

A good product must be something that we would like to have one extra copy just in case.

If all of these things hold true, then it is something that we accept in our store, it fits our brand, and we would be happy to sell to you.

A bad supplier

We are always in the process to expand our inventory to offer more products to our clients.

The process is rather time-consuming - we need to find a supplier, get few samples from China over Europe, and then analyze the samples.

It requires a lot of human time and back and forth to get the samples shipped.

Then it requires a lot of waiting for the samples to actually arrive.

And finally, we need to analyze the samples.

If we don’t like the sample, for any reason. That is all wasted time.

Unfortunately this happens more often than not, all the time we pour into find a good product is wasted along with the (minimal) capital we invest in the first samples.

The cost of business

While unfortunate, this is our business.

Finding, testing, vetting and selling only good products.

It is our responsibility to make it happens, and we are happy to pay this cost.

All of this, so that you - our costumers - can enjoy good products at a fair price.
